The Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, with the approval of Assistant Professor Dr. Prasert Thongnoonui, Director of the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, has organized a workshop entitled “Routine to Research (R2R) Development Program” for the Institute’s support staff. The initiative aims to enhance personnel capabilities and encourage staff to transform their daily work experiences into research projects that contribute to organizational development and operational improvement.
The training program will be conducted online and is divided into three phases:
- Start Right: 2-3 December 2026
- Design for Action: 8-9 December 2026
- Deliver Impact: 15-16 December 2026
Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in developing research from routine work processes, including identifying research topics, formulating objectives, writing rationales and background information, conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing research reports and conclusions for future application and dissemination.
The workshop is led by Associate Professor Dr. Nattita Rojanaprasarn, who will share her expertise and experience through a hands-on learning approach. The program emphasizes practical application, enabling participants to integrate research principles into their responsibilities and develop tangible research outcomes from their routine work.
This initiative forms part of the Institute’s personnel development strategy, which promotes the concept of “Routine Work Creates Research, and Research Drives Development.” The program aims to strengthen staff competencies, generate knowledge from real-world practice, and support the Institute’s continuous and sustainable organizational development.
