The Natural Resources and Environmental Institute (NREI), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), extended a warm welcome to trainees participating in the Local Resource Base Operations Training Program (Local Resource Base Curriculum).
This program is held under the Royal Initiative Project for the Conservation of Plant Genetic Resources (RDPGR-led by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn), organized by the RUTS Research and Development Institute from November 25 to 28, 2025, at RUTS Trang Campus.
On November 26, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasert Thongnoonui, Director of the NREI, assigned Mr. Pakorn Ju-hong, Fisheries Academic Officer, to serve as a guide and resource person for the tour. Mr. Pakorn provided information on local aquatic species and marine resources to support the mission of conservation, rehabilitation, and enhancing understanding among the project participants.
