On December 13, 2024, the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, extended a warm welcome to Assistant Professor Dr. Theerawit Chantip, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, along with the Association of Deans of Veterinary Medicine of Thailand, and Mr. Pathum Phongsakornfuangfoo, Head of Hat Chao Mai National Park, for an official study visit.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Rajamangala Trang Aquarium and the Rajamangala Trang Aquatic Animal Hospital to observe their operations and research activities.
The visitors were welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Prasert Thongnui, Director of the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, along with the institute’s personnel. The study visit included an exploration of the diverse aquatic species housed at the aquarium and a review of the hospital’s veterinary care system, which specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of marine animals, particularly rare and endangered species, in collaboration with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.
